The Wildlife Crime Leadership Initiative is a long-term training program

that builds leadership abilities among enforcement officers to better counter wildlife trafficking

The program includes instruction from world-class trainers covering enforcement leadership, management skills and operational excellence and develops an understanding of the value of wildlife through Wildlife Encounters courses.

The program is funded by the US Department of State and coordinated by the Wildlife Conservation Society in partnership with national law enforcement training academies.

Officers completing this challenging program will embark on international field trips, engage with enforcement leaders from around the globe and achieve an academic certificate from an international institution.
